“Gem cannot be polished without friction nor anyone can be perfected without trials.” The 37 finalists of the much awaited teen beauty paegent Miss Teen Himalaya Nepal, organized by Katha Events, are now diamonds halfway through being polished. On Wednesday, 6th July, a special “Dining Etiquette” class was conducted under the Director of Mr. Dining Ratendra Singh at Marcopolo Restaurant, Thamel. 

This training is an epitome of the efforts in the organizer’s endeavor to define femininity and grace. The hour long session comprised of instilling the value of the much nuanced yet easy to remember P’s and Q’s of the table manner. 

“The session was a fruitful one. We are very thankful of Marcopolo restaurant for their cooperation which have indeed helped the fellow candidates to become COOL AND COURTEOUS!” said, Ms Ganika Gurung, chairperson, Katha Events. 

A stepping stone to advance advocacies and careers, only time will tell what the destiny of the participants holds but for now, the ladies are just enjoying polishing themselves up.
